Convert To Volume

This module allows the user to re-map a DVC scalar field (displacement and strain components) stored in a mesh into a lattice dataset (image).

Description:

This module allows the user to re-map a DVC scalar field (displacement and strain components) stored in a mesh into a lattice dataset (image).

Connections:

Data [required]:

Any type of scalar field regular grid can be attached. Algorithms will run on both greyscale and binary datasets.

Ports:

Size:

Output dimension of the volume data in voxels.

Mode:

Mode in which the image dimensions are defined. If Manual, the user can define the volume dimensions (in voxels). When converting results from a Local Approach DVC calculation, the X, y and Z dimensions can be set to the number of subvolumes along each axis, and the resulting image will thus have no interpolation.

If Auto, the image dimensions are set automatically to create a volume with a voxel size of 1 and get back to the original dimensions of the image used for DVC.
